NOVEMBER 2007: Fiddling clown
One more picture of the Zumbi Parade in Belo Horizonte in November 2007. This time not a picture of someone in a folkloric outfit, but of a clown. This clown was acting as a sad clown. His make-up and his way of acting almost made you cry and feel sorry for him. From time to time, he fiddled sad songs on his violin. To my big surprise, his acting and violin play made some bystanders laugh. I only can conclude that his sad music must have been funny. However, I am still wondering why this clown took part in the folkloric Zumbi Parade.
