APRIL 2008: Oldtimer
Curitiba, capital of Paraná, hosts various interesting museums. Such as museums about local history, geography, art, literature, trains, cars. An automobile museum, founded in 1968, is located near Barigüi park. Over the years, the collection has grown steadily, and now the museum boasts to have more than 150 vintage models, of which eighty constantly rotate over the available parking spaces in the museum. One of the eye catchers in the museum is Emerson Fittipaldi`s racing car, with which he won the Formula 1 championship in 1974. For me, it was not only interesting pictures of the many old-timers, but also of details of these classic cars, of which this picture is an example.
